by Mindy Aguon
Guam - It took a couple of weeks but a jury has been empanelled in the Blue House Lounge case and the trial is set to begin on Wednesday. Court policy, planning and communications director Joshua Tenorio confirms that a jury has been selected and opening statements are scheduled to begin at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon. Police Officers David Q. Manila and Anthony Quenga are going to trial for allegedly promoting prostitution at the former brothel.
They also face criminal sexual conduct charges for their alleged actions. The trial is expected to take several weeks as there are more than 80 individuals on the witness list. Former Blue House Lounge owner Song Ja Cha meanwhile will be tried separately.
