Southern High gym set to open

Guam - After years of termite infestation and water damage, students at Southern High School will finally have use of their newly renovated gym and fine arts auditorium.

DOE facilities and maintenance manager Billy Cruz says the project ribbon cutting is slated for this Saturday. Just in time for the first day of classes for all public schools on August 19.

The project is funded through $7 million in ARRA money.
