Guam - Saipan's Chamber of Commerce president Alexander Sablan is hoping to draw more investors to his island.

At Wednesday's Chamber of Commerce meet, Sablan noted Saipan's improving economy with plenty of investment incentives in the CNMI through the Qualifying Certificate Porgram which provides up to 100% tax abatement for up to 25 years for qualified investors.

Only 120 miles from home, Sablan noted Saipan's stronger visitor arrivals along with the granting of    China and Russian visa waivers in 2009. In addition, projections rank Saipan as the 11th in the top American airports catering to the high-spending Chinese travelers this summer.
