Cop cleared after auto-pedestrian incident

Guam - A police officer behind the wheel of an auto pedestrian incident in Harmon earlier this month was cleared of any violations. Eugene Charfauros was beginning to head uphill toward the Harmon overpass when he hit a man crossing the street heading toward the Saint Paul's area. According to GPD spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia the pedestrian was cited for jaywalking.  Speed was not a factor. The case has been closed.
