Guam - The island's visitor industry continues to grow, translating to more jobs and longer work hours.

An informal survey conducted by the Guam Visitors Bureau shows Ken Corporation, who operates five hotels on Guam, is hiring to fill more positions vacated by both resignations and promotions as well as increase employee work hours due to the rise in hotel occupancy.

This falls in line with the quarterly current employment report issued by the Department of Labor indicating that for March 2013 hotels hired 420 more people over the previous year.
