Marijuana Bust in Mangilao
A 50-year-old man and his 20-year-old son have been arrested on drug charges.
Guam - A 50-year-old man has been arrested on drug charges. His arrest stems from a search warrant executed at six o’clockThursday morning at a home along East Pulan Court in the Latte Plantation area of Mangilao.
According to GPD Spokesperson Officer AJ Balajadia officers from the Dededo Precinct received information a few weeks ago that 50-year-old David Wayne Briggs was growing marijuana on his property. Balajadia added officers from the Dededo Precinct and the Violent Street Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant this morning. Police confiscated over 100 plants on the property.
Briggs was arrested for Possession of a Scheduled I Controlled Substance, Possession of a Scheduled I Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute, and Manufacturing a Controlled Substance. He was booked and confined.
(GPD in a press release earlier stated two people were arrested, but has since retracted that misinformation)
