Guam - Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo joined members of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus in a meeting with President Barack Obama today in the nation's capitol. Bordallo, who serves as vice chair of the caucus, raised the importance of the Omnibus Territories Act of 2013, and asked for the administration's support of the bill as it moves through the legislative process. The bill contains many provisions important to Guam, including the text of the Guam World War II Loyalty Recognition Act. Bordallo also encouraged the president to urge the Department of Homeland Security to come to a favorable decision on China visa waiver for Guam. She stressed its importance to Guam's tourism industry and the need for DHS to come to a decision before a leadership transition at DHS.
