Guam - The Guam Community College celebrates another upgrade to their Mangilao facilities with a ground breaking ceremony held this morning.
Thanks to an award from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency, GCC can begin a $1.95 million hardening project to Building 200.
The grant will transform the current single-story building into a two-story concrete structure able to withstand typhoon winds and impact from storm debris as well as provide an additional 1,500 square feet for classrooms and labs.
