7 United crew, 2 passengers injured during turbulence

Seven crew members and two passengers aboard United Flight 874 from Tokyo were treated at the Guam Memorial Hospital emergency room early this morning.

Guam - Seven crew members and two passengers aboard United Flight 874 from Tokyo were treated at the Guam Memorial Hospital emergency room early this morning.

United has issued a statement explaining the Guam bound flight encountered turbulence while in flight.

310 passengers and 12 crew members were on board and United is conducting a review of the event.

GMH administrator Joseph Verga says he received the call around 4 this morning on the matter noting that all were treated in the ER and released this morning. No serious injuries were reported.
