Guam - Travel agents and travel trade media representing nine Japanese cities are here on Guam to participate in the 2013 Hafa Adai Guam Study Tour hosted by the Guam Visitors Bureau, the Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association, the Japan Guam Travel Association and United Airlines.
GVB general manager Karl Pangelinan says such study tours have been a vehicle for the last 20 years to give Japanese travel agents and international media a unique and rewarding experience of Guam so they may promote Guam directly to consumers with firsthand knowledge of what the island has to offer.
A travel trade show is set for tomorrow at the Sheraton where the island's newest attractions, tours, and facilities will be on display.
