Guam - The Adopt-A-School Program is back. With the first day of classes fast approaching, dozens of GovGuam agencies are partnering with the Department of Education to prepare 40 campuses for school opening on August 19.

At a press conference today, school officials met with agency officials to establish points of contacts. Governor Eddie Calvo's education liaison Vince Leon Guerrero says valuable lessons were learned last year. as a result, doe has budgeted and will provide paint this time around.

Leon Guerrero adds the Department of Corrections will provide grass cutting services and hopes to partner with the Guam Power Authority to sweep schools to repair broken A/C units.
