GUAM - The U.S. Naval Hospital Guam has earned the Joint Commission's gold seal of approval.

Earlier this month inspection teams from the Joint Commission and medical inspector general conducted their 2013 triennial survey. The gold seal of approval means the Naval Hospital has demonstrated compliance with the national standards for health care quality and safety. U.S. Naval Hospital Guam Commanding Officer Captain Jeff Plummer says the results of the survey and inspection are impressive, but he is most proud of the professional engagement of his staff and their daily dedication to continuous readiness.
