DPW issues alert regarding construction on the Hagatna bridge

GUAM - The Department of Public Works has issued an alert to all motorists that the evening lane closures at the Hagatna bridge construction site will be extended through next week. 

The inside lanes (both northbound and southbound) of Route 1 at the Route 4 intersection will be temporarily closed from 8:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. through Thursday, June 20. During this time, the outside lane of Route 4 (heading toward Paseo loop) will also be closed. The lane closures are required for the safety of construction personnel as they drive piles into the ground for the stability of the new Agana River Bridge.

Motorists are advised to proceed with caution through the area and to obey all traffic signs and flagmen in the area. The DPW thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
