By KUAM NewsA roundtable discussion was held this afternoon to discuss programs available for Chamorro Land Trust properties such as grants and loans to fund infrastructure development.
USDA Rural Development State Director Chris Kanazawa, coming off a speaking engagement at the Affordable Housing Symposium, offered his insight on programs available.
"The key is that substantially underserved trust areas (SUTA) provide additional tools and benefits that overlay onto our existing traditional rural utilities services programs and all those rules and regulations apply"
