Guam - The annual Relay for Life kicks off this Friday at 7pm at the George Washington High School track. The annual event sponsored by the American Cancer Society brings together thousands of island residents to take a stand against this devastating disease. The relay brings together friends, families, businesses, hospitals, schools, faith-based groups - people from all walks of life - all aimed at celebrating the lives of those who have had cancer, remembering those lost, and fighting back against the disease. And this year's event is extra special because the American Cancer Society - which is the official sponsor of birthdays - is celebrating its 100th birthday this year. The relay for life starts at 7pm Friday at ends 7am Saturday morning.
