Guam - William San Nicolas will be sentenced on June 7.  He cut a deal with the government in the brutal attack on Cameron Masnayon and agreed to plead guilty to assault as a misdemeanor.  The court had scheduled a further proceedings hearing for today but San Nicolas' attorney is in another trial.

San Nicolas and co-defendants Michael and Daniel Rosal all entered into plea deals with the government without the consultation or approval of the victim and his family. Masnayon suffered major traumatic brain injury from the beating.

Michael Rosal was recently sentenced to 7 years behind bars.
