Guam - This Saturday the Guam Waterworks Authority will begin conducting massive meter changeouts. GWA will begin in Liguan Terrace and Kaiser in Dededo starting at 7:30 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon.  Customers during this time will be experiencing interruption of water services for about a half hour to one hour as crews change out old Sensus meters to the new Badger meters.

GWA spokesperson Heidi Ballendorf said, "We've got to change out all of the Sensus meters, I want to say there's about 13,000 in the ground and we need to get that done by the end of this year. November, December, we want to have that finished."

Residential customers are asked to not to park over the meter site, clear debris around the meter area and make sure dogs aren't close to the meter area.
