Bottle Bill tweaked to emulate stateside legislation

Guam - It was back in 2010 Senator Tina Muna Barnes introduced the Guam Beverage Container Recycling Act better known as the Bottle Bill but after working with the Guam Environmental Protection Agency, Barnes has made technical amendments to her legislation in order to model best practices for bottle recycling in Hawaii and California. The changes also address the funding issues by authorizing the administrator of GEPA to direct revenue from the Recycling Revolving Fund toward the implementation of the bottle law.
