Guam - A superior court grand jury returned an indictment today against two men who were involved in a home invasion in Piti. Raymond Tedtaotao and Anthony Paul Mendiola as well as 16-year-old Kyle James Cruz are charged with attempted murder, guilt by complicity to commit attempted murder, first degree robbery, aggravated assault and burglary.
Tedtaotao is accused of forcing his way into the home and tying a woman up and beating her leaving her unconscious while a male minor gathered clothes and a camera and Mendiola stole two laptops from the home.
The woman had serious brain trauma and had to undergo neurosurgery as a result of the beating. Tedtaotao had been released from prison about six months prior after the Attorney General's Office dismissed criminal charges against him in a credit card theft case involving the Crown Bakery kidnapping victim.
Tedtaotao has an extensive rap sheet and has never spent more than one year behind bars for the more than twelve times he's been arrested since 2005. The three are scheduled to appear in court next Wednesday to answer to the charges.
