Woman signs plea for setting up bogus marriage

Guam - A woman who assisted in setting up a sham marriage so that someone could get a green card has signed a plea agreement. Yingzi Zhang agreed to plead guilty to aiding and abetting false statements that comes with a maximum sentence of five years.
According to the plea agreement, Zhang admitted that she introduced Jian Bing Wu to Lynda Laracuente, knowing they would enter into a fraudulent marriage so that Wu could get a green card. The bogus marriage was discovered by authorities when Wu petitioned the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to remove his conditional residential status.
