Guam - In celebration of Senior Citizens Month Catholic Social Services' Adult Day Care held an open house for the community filled with food, fun, and music. Program manager Maria Timoteo says the need for the service is growing on island as presently 42 man'amko use the facility daily.
She said, "There's a lot of man'amko that wants to use the facility right now the waiting list is going to build up and we cannot help unless somebody will open up another center to accommodate all our elderly."
The Adult Day Care allows for man'amko to socialize in exercise, arts and crafts, bingo, and dancing while their families go to work in the day.
