Guam - Department of Education superintendent Jon Fernandez hopes GovGuam's share of the CoreTech facility in Tiyan, which currently houses Untalan Middle School students and staff, will stay with DOE as an interim campus. "I would look at the possibility of using that campus if we can get it on a permanent basis to address the secondary high school needs in terms of its population we're going to have to look at the logistics and whether that's possible," he said.

GovGuam has until the end of the year to exercise its option to purchase the Tiyan site.

Meanwhile an invitation for bid is in the works for full-scale renovations to the Untalan campus in Barrigada which Fernandez hopes to have completed within the next two weeks.
