Guam - Several people testified in support of the confirmation of Henry Taitano to serve as the administrator of the Guam Economic Development Authority. "GEDA needs to be more of something more than, oh there's that agency that goes and gets those bonds we do need to be more profound in what we're doing as far as economic development goes," he said.

Taitano has been serving as the acting administrator since February after Karl Pangelinan was hired as the new general manager of the Guam Visitors Bureau. Taitano previously served as Governor Eddie Calvo's economic advisor.
