Guam - Island residents are being warned about another Publishers Clearinghouse scam.  Local resident Rick Guerrero told KUAM News he received a call claiming he had won a free trip to anywhere in the United States and was eligible to receive $5,000 cash a week for the rest of his life and a Chevy Camaro.  The unknown caller asked for a credit card number and residents are reminded that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Publishers Clearinghouse meanwhile never contacts winners over the phone.  Residents are asked to report these types of scams to the Attorney General's Office's Consumer Protection Division.
