Guam - Monday was the deadline for public officials to file their financial disclosure reports to the Guam Election Commission. According to executive director Maria Pangelinan, 367 public officials are required to turn in a financial disclosure report but only 180 have filed full reports whereas 59 filed an extension.

Pangelinan says many simply have to just turn in a conflict of interest report. Of the count, Governor Eddie Calvo turned in a report whereas Lieutenant Governor Ray Tenorio filed an extension. From the legislature, only Vice Speaker B.J. Cruz and Senators Tina Rose Muna Barnes Ben Pangelinan and Aline Yamashita turned in a report whereas the remaining 11 senators filed an extension. Those who filed an extension have 180 days thereafter or on October 18 to turn in a report.

A preliminary list will be presented at tomorrow's GEC meeting.
