Fire Weather Watch issued for Guam
Guam - The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch for Guam until Wednesday afternoon. Because of the dry conditions we're experiencing and increasing winds it becomes conducive to the rapid spread of wildfires.
The most dangerous times that it could likely occur would be midday until around sunset. Outdoor burning is not recommended as embers and ash may start spot fires downwind. According to the NWS, the most susceptible areas that a fire could ignite are along east facing slopes.
