Guam - Core Tech Foundation, Inc. establishes a 2013-2014 scholarship program to provide one or more annual grants for outstanding Guam public high school students set to attend the University of Guam or the Guam Community College. The scholarship program follows Core Tech's $100,000 pledge to the University of Guam for their 60th anniversary capital campaign.
Core Tech president Ho Eun says "sometimes the decision to pursue those credentials is impeded for financial reasons, and we genuinely hope these awards will help our young people." Candidates must be enrolled full time at either of the colleges, have at least a cumulative grade point average of 80%, and have attended a Guam public high school for at least three years.
