GEDA administering new Guam Product Seal rules
Guam - Beginning June 1, the Guam Economic Development Authority will not only start to administer several new provisions to the Guam Product Seal program, but also start inspections to ensure businesses are being compliant. To prepare businesses for the new rules, business development manager Tina Garcia says GEDA will be offering an informational seminar next week.
She told KUAM News, "Since the law was implemented last year, we're still receiving questions on what exactly is covered, not covered, whether it's a sticker or permanent identification, and we just want to give everybody the opportunity to come in and speak to us to ensure they fully understand the law and they're not caught by surprise when GEDA starts coming in start the to the inspection."
The seminar is set for April 25 at 10am at the GEDA offices. For more information on the new provisions go to investguam.com.
