Guam - To honor the spirit of volunteerism, Governor Eddie Calvo put pen to paper proclaiming April 9 Guam Service Recognition Day. Guam Service Recognition Day commends volunteers who augment the work done by mayors from mentorship and tutoring programs, sponsoring sports teams, and sprucing up village parks.
The Mayors Council of Guam as well as the Serve Guam Commission, AmeriCorps, Sanctuary Incorporated, and Pa A Tao Tao Tano were present.
