Drug importation case set for trial in May

Guam - A couple who is accused of importing several hundred grams of crystal methamphetamine are scheduled to go to trial next month. Eric and Macrina Tedtaotao appeared in the District Court today. Eric Tedtaotao was granted his request to replace his attorney.
Both pleaded not guilty to additional criminal charges that were handed down recently in a superceding indictment. The court also set a motions hearing and pre-trial conference for April 30.
The two are charged along with Bertha Moore, who remains a fugitive from law enforcement, accused of bringing in the drug ice from the Philippines.
