Guam - Three people charged in the copper wire theft case appeared in the superior court this morning. Terrance Meno, Eric Faisao and Freddie Susuico all appeared with their defense attorneys expecting to find out when they will go to trial but that has been delayed because of the government.

Meno however may sign a plea deal with the government for the copper wire theft and another pending criminal case before the court. His defense attorney indicated that the government has yet to present a global plea offer and Meno today asserted his right to a speedy trial.

Concerned about the delays in the case, Superior Court Judge Anita Sukola ordered the attorney assigned to the case to appear for a continued hearing on Tuesday.

The three men are accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of copper wire from numerous public schools and several businesses.
