Guam - 20-year-old Keith Garrido will go to trial before the end of the summer. Garrido appeared in court today expecting for his case to be set for trial but the matter was continued until later in the month as the defense wants additional time to request discovery.
His attorney, Ana Gayle, told the court that they intend to request a fingerprint analysis from the Guam Police Department. Superior Court Judge Anita Sukola warned that the matter will be set for trial during the next hearing on April 24 and said Garrido would be going to trial likely in May or June.
Garrido is being held on a half-million dollars cash bail for the brutal murder of 63-year-old Nancy Mafnas.
