Guam - Looking for a new home or rental? A cool new local app gives you access to look at some potential properties from your mobile phone.
Looking for a new property to rent or buy? An innovative local realtor has taken it upon himself to make real estate listings available on your mobile smart phone. Today's Realty's Duane Pahl has created a native app available for both Android and iOS systems that is the perfect solution for someone in search of real estate in our local market.
The app has a very extensive search engine which shows users all properties on the market within their chosen parameters. It also has an easy to use mortgage calculator to help potential buyers decide on what is within their budget.
What is even more interesting is that the application also links to a YouTube channel where you can view video walkthroughs of many of the available properties currently on the market. Of course, if you would like to take the next steps on seeing or purchasing one of these properties, the app also has Pahl's email, text and phone number available at just the push of a button.
Pahl has stated that the creation of the app was twofold: he wanted to add a fourth weapon to his arsenal in the very competitive real estate industry and creating the app gave him an advantage over his peers. Additionally, the app has also made searching for property a much easier task for the everyday person - allowing potential home owners vast filtering power in the palm of their hands.
Pahl worked extensively with Alex Fields (who created the Marianas GPS app we featured months ago) for three months to get the application ready for both Android and iOS systems. Since its release roughly six weeks ago, the real estate application has seen about three downloads a day.
Very few apps are created with our local market in mind and Pahl has really tread an untouched frontier and resource. Let's hope that it paves the way for other industries on our island.
