Guam - 200 airmen and a half dozen B-52s from Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota will be deploying to Guam tomorrow. According to Andersen Air Force Base's chief of public affairs Captain Chris Hoyler the deployment is part of the U.S. Pacific Command's Continuous Bomber Presence Program. He adds this forward deployed presence demonstrates continuing U.S. commitment to stability and security in the Asia- Pacific Region. He says the 200 airmen will be replacing airmen from Barskdale Air Force Base in Louisiana who began their deployment in October last year.  He adds the deployment is part of a regularly scheduled deployment for the continuous bomber presence mission.
