Calvo visiting Guam troops in Mississippi

Governor Eddie Calvo is headed to Mississippi this weekend to see off more than 600 members of the Guam National Guard before they are deployed to Afghanistan.

Guam - Governor Eddie Calvo is headed to Mississippi this weekend to see off more than 600 members of the Guam National Guard before they are deployed to Afghanistan. Members of the 1-294th Infantry Battalion are in Camp Shelby training before they head to Afghanistan for about a nine-month tour of duty.

Calvo is accompanied by Buildup Office director Mark Calvo, and representatives from the Guam National Guard including adjutant general Benny Paulino.
