Guam - A 12-year-old girl was shocked when she went to take a shower, opened the curtain and found a man inside. Police were called to a home on Santa Cruz Street in Agat around 8:00 o'clock Thursday night. The girl told police that she screamed and the man grabbed her and pinned her to the ground by sitting on her telling her to 'Shut up'.

GPD Spokesperson Officer AJ Balajadia says the girl's younger sister came to the bathroom door to see what the commotion was when the suspect went out of the small bathroom window and fled the area. Police attempted to locate the suspect but were unsuccessful. He was wearing blue jeans, a long sleeve blue shirt and a black ski mask. This case was forwarded to Criminal Investigations Division.

Officer Balajadia reminds the public to ensure all of the windows of their home are secured including bathroom windows as burglars often use it as a point of entry into a home.
