Guam - It's a gift that will keep giving back to the island's schoolchildren as the Department of Corrections received two Shindaiwa bushcutters from Tri Enterprises, Inc. Thursday morning.

Warden Frank Crisostomo happily received the donation, which will be used to maintain schools around the island. "We've got so many prisoners idling. We need to keep them working especially focusing on parks and schools to help out the kids in the community," said Crisostomo.

Crisostomo says 12 prisoners and 3 staff work on school campuses on the weekends. Yigo mayor Rudy Matanane coordinated the donation.
