Navy medics attacked while attempting to help

Two Navy emergency medical service personnel were injured while trying to provide mutual aid by responding to a cal of a sick person in the Santa Ana area on Tuesday night.

Guam - Two Navy emergency medical service personnel were injured while trying to provide mutual aid by responding to a call of a sick person in the Santa Ana area on Tuesday night. Navy spokesperson Lieutenant William Knight confirms that as the medics responded to the area, a group of people surrounded the ambulance throwing rocks and shattering the window and cracking the windshield.

The personnel suffered minor cuts from broken glass. Rocks were also thrown at another vehicle.

Police were called and took several minors into custody as well as one male adult.
