AG, Rev & Tax mum following staffer's arrest

Guam - The Attorney General's Office and the Department of Revenue & Taxation are not saying much about the arrest of an employee from the latter agency. Rev & Tax director John Camacho would only confirm that he is aware of the arrest and release of one of his employees who used to be assigned to the Registration Section of the department.
Camacho could only say that the matter is under investigation.
KUAM News has learned that the investigation surrounds whether the employee was illegally renewing people's vehicle insurance without supporting documents and giving out tags without charging some customers. Camacho says that since the investigation, the individual has been moved to another section at Rev & Tax. No adverse action has been taken at this time.
The AG's Office did not respond to our inquiry on the matter.
