GIAA to make presentations on retail concessionaire contract

Guam - Evaluations on the highly anticipated airport specialty retail concessionaire contract are nearly completed. Airport executive manager Chuck Ada confirms that a presentation will be made to the airport board during a meeting next Thursday. The Guam International Airport Authority has been on a month-to-month contract with the current vendor, DFS Guam.
Formal interviews with the four bidders were held back in December and an evaluation team has spent the last three months reviewing the proposals. Ada said there were delays in the presentation as the team needed clarification on several issues pertaining to the lucrative multi-million dollar contract.
The airport board is scheduled to meet next Thursday at three o'clock in the afternoon.
