Guam - The Guam Election Commission board is scheduled to meet today. This should mark the first meeting for returning GEC board member Alice Taijeron. As we reported Governor Eddie Calvo appointed her as a democratic member of the GEC based off the recommendation by the Democratic Party of Guam. Her term is set to expire on January 18th, 2014.  The democrats selected Taijeron to fill the position on the GEC after Chris Carillo resigned from the post after being arrested on drug possession and importation charges. The GEC meeting is scheduled for 5:14pm in the GCIC Building.
