Guam - A psychological evaluation that was conducted last Thursday on murder suspect Chad Ryan Desoto will not be made public. Although the document was filed with the court, Public Defender Eric Miller filed a motion to seal the report, saying the release of that information would taint the jury pool and prevent his client from getting a fair trial.

Miller added that he wanted the information withheld from the public to protect the rights of his client.

The government opposed the motion saying the defense had not shown that release of the report would prejudice Desoto, but Judge Anita Sukola disagreed and said the report would be sealed until further order of the court.

Desoto remains behind bars for killing three people and injuring eleven others when he went on a rampage through Tumon in February.

He pleaded not guilty by reason of mental illness, defect and disease and is scheduled to appear back in court on March 20.
