Guam - Kick Butts Awareness continued today with a New Orleans jazz funeral procession and release of floating candles at the Chamorro Village late this afternoon. The campaign intends to educate youth on the dangers of smoking.
Nationally, 1,200 lives are taken daily due to tobacco related illnesses. Locally, 365 lives are taken annually - that's one person a day. Kick butts events continue with a wave set for March 20 at the ITC intersection from 4-6pm.
