Guam - A readiness hearing was scheduled in San Diego in the case against Guam resident Zachary Tenorio, who is accused of murdering his brother, Jonathan Jake Tenorio. According to San Diego Country District Attorney communications director Steve Walker, a readiness hearing allows the prosecution and the defense to let the judge know if they are ready to proceed to the preliminary hearing, which as of today has been set for April 11.

Another readiness hearing is scheduled for April 3. Zachary was visiting his brother while participating in a jujitsu tournament.  He's accused of stabbing his brother during an "alcohol fueled struggle".

He is being held on $1.5 million bail. Jonathan was living in San Diego and was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy assigned to the U.S.S. Bunker Hill.
