Guam - 36 1st class petty officers and chiefs from the U.S.S. Frank Cable dedicated their time last week to spruce-up the central village of Mangilao. Chaplain Lieutenant Matt Prince says the sailors painted the senior citizens center, tore down a pavilion and set up a tarp for the just say no to drug dance group at the Mayor's Office.
Two weeks ago, sailors waterblasted Price Elementary School, read to students there and at Adacao Elementary School and painted four speed bumps to give back to the community.
They were treated with lunch from Mangilao mayor Nito Blas.
