Guam - Three Agat residents were arrested by Criminal Investigation Division agents following the execution of a search warrant in Agat on Thursday. CID agents were conducting a burglary investigation at a home near Chalan Sulla in Agat.

Piles and piles of trash was found both in and out of the home and agents had to use shovels to move things around inside the house while others wore hazardous material suits as they were looking for stolen items believed to be from burglaries.
On Thursday, police arrested:

- Jacob Flores Mesa, 21, was arrested for illegal transfer of a firearm, theft by receiving stolen property, guilt established by complicity, criminal facilitation and unsworn falsification
- Ana Manglona Mesa, 40, for 2 counts of child abuse, conspiracy to commit burglary, and conspiracy to commit theft of property
The child abuse charges stem from the squalor living conditions at the home where a 5-year-old and 16-year-old also reside. Child Protective Services was contacted to intervene on the children's behalf.
