Guam - Continuing their theme of "Where Patients Are Partners" the Guam Regional Medical City invites regional artists to submit concepts to fill three floors of blank canvas space for the hospital lobby. Chief operating officer Kevin Haws says the callout for submissions is another milestone leading to the hospital's completion set for the summer of 2014.

"We're taking this to a level - an art project - where we continue that theme of partnering. We're partnering with the people of Guam, and specifically we're partnering with the local artisan community," he explained. "For them to be able to create a piece of art that would be reflective of the healing process and that collaboration between a healthcare organizations and the patients and the families that we serve."
