Guam - Hoping to dispel any rumors that he or any of his staff are involved in drugs, Vice Speaker B.J. Cruz confirms with KUAM News that he and his entire office will undergo drug testing this week. Cruz says the decision was made on Tuesday following the recent termination of his research analyst, Chris Carillo.

Carillo was fired last week after he was arrested by Customs officers for possession of marijuana. He is currently being held on $200,000 cash bail.

The vice speaker says he knows there are many rumors circulating in the community alleging that he and other staffers were involved in drug use, so they all have agreed to submit to drug testing this week.
