Guam - Two male clients remain on the loose after escaping from the Department of Youth Affairs correction facility in Mangilao on Tuesday afternoon.  DYA spokesperson William Castro says an extensive search has been launched for the minors, ages 15 and 17. One of the clients is Chamorro/Palauan and stands about 5'6", weighs 110 pounds with black hair and brown eyes and a slim build.

The other Chamorro teenager stands five foot four inches with black hair and brown eyes also with a slim build.  Castro says the two teens have been in DYA's custody for more than a year.

They managed to escape from the Male Dormitory, but specific details of how they got away have not yet been released. Castro told KUAM News, "One was in for auto theft and theft by receiving. The other was for theft of a motor vehicle and beyond control."

They are not considered dangerous but those who have information of their whereabouts are asked to contact DYA's superintendent at 735-5022/23 or Guam Crimestoppers at 477-HELP (4357).  An Internal Affairs investigation has been launched into the escape.
