Guam - A search warrant was executed at the home of Democratic Party of Guam Executive Director Carlo Branch this afternoon.  Branch tells KUAM that when he returned home from lunch to pick up his passport, he found Customs and Quarantine officers at his Tamuning home.  He says they inquired about a package that was addressed to another person who lives at the home.

Branch says the search warrant states that the package contained contraband and/or marijuana.  He adds he gave the officers consent to search the home but they had to obtain a warrant because he is not the owner of the home.  As we reported Customs and Quarantine officials are not disclosing details about the ongoing investigation and what was discovered inside the mail parcel.

Customs K9 dogs were seen sniffing around the home and officers were scouring a Toyota Sequoia parked in the driveway earlier this afternoon. Branch could not say whether law enforcement authorities found anything inside the home.

He confirms that Chris Carillo, his co-worker at Vice Speaker B.J. Cruz's office and Guam Election Commission board member, also resides at the home.
